Design talks. It talks about brand and quality. It talks about audience and attitude. Whatever the medium, every type of collateral piece produced — from a large interactive web site to a simple business card — communicates something, or perhaps many things, about the organization that produces it. This forms the foundation of the way I approach design projects. I work with individuals and companies to create print and hypermedia communications that are message-focused.
I've been immersed in the world of law firms and lawyers for more than a decade, and much of the work you see in my portfolio was created for the legal community. I work as a law firm marketer and also serve as a volunteer designer for Maryland Lawyers for the Arts, a nonprofit that helps artists secure pro bono legal help.
My work isn't all about lawyers though. I also work with some very cool small/medium-sized businesses and nonprofits from all types of industries, particularly on web site projects.
